INSTITUTE OF DRIVING TRAINING & RESEARCH (IDTR) Bahadurgarh has been set up in collaboration with M/s Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in an area of 12 acres. The Institute has tracks, spacious class rooms, conference hall, library, simulator room, office rooms, canteen and hostel for the trainees. The Institute is equipped with modern training equipment’s and vehicles. 147 number of persons have been provided basic training for grant of driving licence and 6643 number of persons refresher training till 31.10.2012.
INSTITUTE OF DRIVING TRAINING & RESEARCH (IDTR) Rohtak has been set up in collaboration with M/s Maruti Udyog Ltd at an area of 12 acres 5 Kanals 18 marla. The land has been given free of cost by Gram Panchayat, Kanheli. The Institute has tracks, spacious class rooms, conference hall, library, simulator room, office rooms and canteen for the trainees. 153 number of persons have been provided the basic training for grant of driving licence and 4846 number of persons have been provided refresher training till 31.10.2012.
INSTITUTE OF DRIVING TRAINING & RESEARCH (IDTR) Kaithal is being set up in collaboration with M/s Ashok Leyland Ltd. at an area of 10 acres with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 17.28 crores. The land for the Institute has been given free of cost by the Gram Panchyat of Village Garhi Padla. The Institute has tracks, spacious class rooms, conference hall, library, simulator room, office rooms, canteen and hostel for the trainees. The Institute is ready for launch.
INSTITUTE OF DRIVING TRAINING & RESEARCH (IDTR) Bhiwani will be set up in village Kaluwas(Bhiwani) in an area of 10 acres, which has been given free of cost by the Gram Panchayat. The project has been sanctioned by the Central Government and an assistance of Rs. 12.45 crores will be given by the Central Government for the project. MoU has been signed with M/s Tata Motors Ltd. and the construction of the building will start soon.
INSPECTION AND TESTING CENTER FOR MOTOR VEHICLES, Rohtak is being set up in an area of about 3 acres with central financial assistance of Rs.14.40 crores. The Center will have a capacity to check road worthiness of 125000-150000 vehicles per year. It will be equipped with fully automated and computerized machines to check the vehicles. The construction of the building of the Centre is likely to be started soon.
